How is relevancy of link placement and comment decided?

We always do our best to find placements most relevant to your specific anchor text and landing page. However, if your anchor text is long tailed (more than two keywords) and we are unable to find placement specific to the keywords in the long tail, we will focus our placement queries around the general subject of the anchor text. For example: if your anchor text is “Best hotels in Princeton Connecticut” and after searching for placement specific to that we were unable to find viable placement, we will search for more general placement which talks about Hotels and Travel.

Content written for links (the comment) is first prioritized to be relevant to the content of the placement page and afterwards prioritized to be relevant to the link’s anchor text and/ or landing page. This is done to maximize the probability that the site owner will accept the comment and thereby accept the link as well.
